iSecure

Client privacy is of paramount importance to us.

This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information iSecure collects, how we use it and how we protect it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you contact us or request a quote, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address or suburb, and details about the security help you need. If you apply for a job, we also collect the information in your application.

If you become a client, we hold the information needed to design, install and monitor your system, such as site details, nominated contacts for alarm response, and service history.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes.
  • To deliver, service and monitor your security system, including contacting you and your nominated contacts when an alarm event occurs.
  • To manage billing and our business records.
  • To consider your job application, if you send one.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where needed to deliver our services (for example, notifying police during an alarm response you have asked us to act on), or where the law requires it.

Service providers

Our website forms are delivered to our own inbox by our email processing provider. Basic, anonymised website analytics may be collected to understand how the site is used. We choose providers that store data securely.

Security of your information

We are a security company: we take this seriously. Access to client information is limited to the iSecure team members who need it to do their job, and monitoring records are kept on secured systems.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us on 1300 012 029 or email info@isecureu.com.au.

Questions or concerns

If you have a question or a complaint about how we have handled your information, call 1300 012 029 or write to us at Unit D6, 13/15 Forrester St, Kingsgrove NSW 2208. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
